Yes, you can use it under partial shelter like pergolas or gazebos provided at least 25% of the area remains open for ventilation. Maintain minimum safety distances of 1 metre above and 0.3 metres around the heater from any flammable materials. Never use indoors or in fully enclosed spaces.

The heater can operate in rain due to its double galvanised steel construction with powder coating. However, it's recommended to use the included protective cover when not in use to extend the product's lifespan. The electrical components are weather-sealed for outdoor operation.
